Ben Brown, Youth Minister
Ben grew up in Northern Kentucky and was a Boone County Rebel in high school. Since graduation, he has married Julianne and they have a daughter, Ava. He is currently working on his Master's degree at the Billy Graham School in Louisville. Ben's goal is "to share Christ with as many people as I can and to disciple/grow believers to be more like Christ. Our joy and purpose is found in Christ." His interests include sports, friends, Christian music (esp. Skillet and Chris Tomlin), and God's Word.

Mary Nicholas
Mary is a fearless leader who served as interim youth minister before Ben came. She teaches the 6th-8th Grade Sunday School class, and her energy and enthusiasm for teaching these kids is evident from the moment she walks into the classroom. She also serves HBC as a member of the Audio/Visual Team. She works as a service advisor for a car dealership, but her favorite job is being a mom to her son, Dustin. Email Mary by clicking here.
Scott &
Jenny are leading the High School Sunday Bible class this year.
They are the parents of three – Alisha, Brent, and Brad. They have
served with our youth group since 1998. Scott grew up at HBC and
was active in the youth group here. Jenny grew up at Calvary
Baptist and likewise, was very active in their youth program.
Jenny works at Crossroads Preschool with the 3 year old classes.
Scott works as an Environmental Health and Safety Manager at a local
drywall manufacturer. Says Scott, "I’m very happy to be leading the
Youth again this year. My goal for the youth Sunday Bible study is
to provide a Biblical lesson that we can discuss, explore and learn from
God’s word and also one another’s experiences, challenges, and goals.
I believe the time serves to strengthen our faith, and also
to strengthen our relationships with one another as Christian friends."

Ben Halliburton
Ben is a 2007 graduate of the group.
He and Vinny lead a Bible study for students, and he assists in
the 6th-8th grade Sunday school class.
He also likes “making myself look like an idiot for the youth
group’s enjoyment.” Ben

Vincent (Vinny) Folchi
Vinny leads a Bible study for students along with Ben. He is pursing a degree in Secondary Social Studies Education at NKU and plans to teach and coach baseball at an under-privileged school, where he hopes to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Vinny believes in spending time with the kids for any reason because "the time you spend with them is the most important thing a youth group values...I value them above myself.
